Listening
Every book is narrated by a German native speaker, and children can follow the words highlighted in karaoke style at a slow and steady pace.

Reading
Dozens of children's books are available in the app, spread across 9 progressive levels of German proficiency from beginner (Level A1) to moderately advanced (Level B2).
Speaking
Comprehension questions and activities encourage re-telling of stories, creating new endings to books, making up unique stories using newly learned German vocabulary, and voice recording with playback to practice pronunciation of German words.

Writing
Each German book challenges students with a writing task, which can be used in the classroom as writing frames and storyboards in German lesson topics.
